Atarashii Gakko!, also known as Atarashii Gakkō no Leaders! [新しい学校のリーダーズ] (“leaders of the new school”), is a Japanese idol band that was formed in 2015. Their debut single, DOKUBANA, was released in 2017, paving the way for their first album Maenarawanai [マエナラワナイ] in 2018.
They expanded their popularity by releasing a bunch of albums, EPs, and singles. Furthermore, they stand out from the mass of idol groups to break through a society of intolerance and standardization. Their motto is individuality and liberty.
In 2023, they returned to the Heads in the Cloud festival, this time in New York and Los Angeles. They took their chance of being in North America and did some headline shows in Canada and Mexico as well. Phew, what a journey! Now, the time has come to hit the European stages!
