With G.L.A.M.S, Mikaru pursues a diverse musical approach. The songs of G.L.A.M.S. feature cinematic design and storytelling elements. One proof of this is that throughout their career, G.L.A.M.S have selected 18 out of 31 songs for which a music video was shot. That’s more than half. A special feature of G.L.A.M.S is that Mikaru, despite his past in a visual kei band, has built up the cinematic approach of G.L.A.M.S outside the visual kei scene. Their discography includes themes from gothic, hip-hop, and alternative rock. Thus, G.L.A.M.S shows a diversity in its creativity and identity.
