MAN WITH A MISSION was created decades ago by the mad scientist Dr. Jimi (yes, Hendrix) to »carry out the planet’s most challenging top-secret missions.« But his experiments were soon used for evil, and Dr. Jimi decided to put an end to it. He imprisoned the man-wolf hybrids in ice at the end of the world. Fast forward: global warming happened and now, MAN WITH A MISSION is back!
And if that hasn’t sold you on MWAM, here are a few more—this time definitely true—facts: They’ve not only contributed to some of the biggest anime hits in existence, but their songs have also been used to promote Hollywood blockbusters in Japan, such as for Mad Max: Fury Road and Godzilla vs. Kong).
Furthermore, they were playable characters in the video game Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 and Freak It! is the official theme for a Japanese Super Rugby team. Oh, and last but not least, their single Dead End in Tokyo was co-written, co-composed, and co-produced by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. Naturally.
