ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK celebrating with 30th Anniversary Europa Tour 2024

ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK 30th Anniversary Europa Tour 2024
Japanese Garage Rock old hands ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK, EES for short, have something to celebrate: Their 30th band anniversary. And there is nothing better to drink to the occasion than commemorating the occasion on tour! Their extensive ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK 30th Anniversary Europa Tour 2024 has already started in the UK, leaving a couple of British dates and even more on the European mainland to come.
Formed in 1994 in Tokyo, ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK dedicated their lives to touring. The three-piece band has already toured 40 countries around the world on 4 continents and performed on pretty much every major rock festival in Europe. Their last visit to Europe was in 2019 with their planned 2020 European tour being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, the band couldn’t be more excited to be back. As frontman Akihito Morimoto states: “Finally, we got a chance to be on the road in UK / EU again. We really wanna show the updated ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK to lovely UK and EU.” And there is more: “EES has missed you guys, so we made this new album for you.”

Heavy Metal Black Belt was just released on 21st of March, 2024, on the band’s own label Double Peace Records. Akihito continues: “Are we a Heavy Metal band? I know we have a lot of type of songs, some songs are Punk, others are Pop, we mixture everything. But pure and true, we love Heavy Metal! We grew up with Heavy Metal. We learnt about Heavy Metal in high school. Heavy Metal is our way of life. Please see our Black Belt for Heavy Metal!”
